Why did you call this the Palo Solo Project?
Palo Solo is an impoverished community about 45 minutes south of Managua, Nicaragua. We started this to help the 45 families that live there. Palo Solo is like millions of other villages throughout the world that are economically challenged but whose families seek a better life for their children.
Do you have 501c status?
Yes we were granted nonprofit status in early 2009.
Are the Donations Annual?
Donations are for one year but we would like the donors to renew annually to provide a consistent benefit to the families and village. As long as you make donations, we will provide you updates on the families.

What if You Raise More than the Village Requires?
There are over 8,000 families with similar circumstances in the region around Palo Solo, and we have already been approached by neighboring communities based on our charity work in Palo Solo for assistance. In the event that funds raised exceed the requirements of Palo Solo, we will expand to other regions with similar requirements. In fact our goal is to expand to other villages throughout the world, but we like to focus on one village at a time in order to provide the highest level of impact.
